Edited: 5:00 A.M. EST on 5-03-2015 Mississippi has had 2 more quakes, both were 3.0 pt.s Something is UP! [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] AND Suspicious Observers may have a reason for quake up-tick! [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Thanks Ben Davidson! Great job!

Anyone else a little concerned about the New Madrid Fault Zone and the 4 quakes we've had today 5-02-2015? Michigan Ontario Canada Tennessee Mississippi I'm of the opinion that we are seeing an up-tick w/the New Madrid Fault showing activity TODAY in its NORTHERN locations. The Saint Lawrence SeaWay along Michigan's western side--WHICH INCLUDES LAKE ERIE--is actually the northern-most area of the fault line. (It is not traditionally called the "New Madrid" but rather "The Saint Lawrence Rift System"...however, the two seismic areas are linked.) Edgar Cayce's prediction was that the 2 rift systems would react when one or both went off! (See post #2 for image & video) [link to en.wikipedia.org]
If there is anything to be concerned about regarding a quake along the New Madrid (northern section) watch Cargill Salt Mine, Cleveland, Ohio. This huge (and very deep) salt mine was temporarily closed due to "geological movement" in August of 2013, but received little media attention (see 2 articles below.)Even beyond the USGS, the Cargill Salt Mine operation has ITS OWN seismic monitors and the temporary closure in 2013 was due to only a 1/100th of an inch movement (according to the article.) If they can catch a 1/100th of an inch movement, they'll be the first to blow a whistle for the safety of their own workers.
THIS is your "canary in the Salt Mine" literally speaking for a "heads-up" on the New Madrid and Saint Lawrence Rift Systems...So far, there has been NO ANNOUNCED CHANGE in CARGILL SALT MINING activity in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
QUAKES TODAY: Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi and Ontario, Canada (so far....) Thread: 3.2 Magnitude Earthquake Canton, Mississippi Michigan experienced a 4.0 pt. quake today near the Toledo/Michigan border coincidentally close to the Cargill Salt Mine in Cleveland which was closed temporarily in August of 2013 due to "subsidence" detected in the roof of the mine. (The mine runs UNDER the lake as well as under the coastline of the lake.) [link to earthquake.usgs.gov]
Ontario, Michigan and Tennessee have experience quakes today! That's very unusual!
I know there is a thread on this activity. However, it is the Cargill Mine in the "connecting the dots" for the New Madrid that I would be watching. ANY temporary closure or an announcement about seismic activity that affects their operations would be the clue you need. If this area develops a sinkhole...that's a really bad sign, as well.
I did a thread on the Cargill/Bayou Corne connection back in 2013 as these are the 2 apexes of the New Madrid Fault Systems, one north, one south. I had a "hinky" that future news about seismic movements in these 2 locations was a big "heads-UP!"
August 22, 2013 Cargill Salt Mine near Cleveland, OH sent workers home for a week when they noticed a "subsidence" in the roof of the huge salt mine there (i.e., the roof of the salt mine had begun to lower, suggesting seismic activity was ongoing.) [link to www.newsnet5.com] NOTE: There is a strangeness with this link that the original title and first 2 sentences are still there...but the rest of the article has mysteriously been "grayed-over" so that it is not readable. Could this be related? Article below has a video.
From "Mining Connection.com" article 8-22-13 [link to www.miningconnection.com]
With the strangeness around the Wal-Mart closures in the south, one really needs to stop and pause as to whether all of these dots are connecting for a very major U.S. geological "event" in the works!
Of course, we wouldn't get any warning...just enjoy the nice bath!
