[quote:Dr. Astro:MV8yODg4NTQ4XzUwOTE0NDI4XzQ2OEZGRjYy] [quote:Prophet Daniel:MV8yODg4NTQ4XzUwOTEzMDA4X0VFNjcwRDg1] So ASTRO, How come this nebula (Hercolubus) as you say changes its apparent magnitude? Looks way closer than in 1957.
It is not "Hercolubus." If you mean the nebula's literal apparent magnitude, T Tauri stars are variables, and a reflection nebula is just like it sounds; the light of the nebula is a reflection of the parent star, a T Tauri star in this case. Nevertheless, the older and the more recent image were shot with different exposure times and different film emulsions, so you can't directly compare the brightness. The image from 1951 was shot with a xx103aE emulsion + plexi filter over 50 minutes and the image in 1990 was shot with a IIIaF emulsion + RG610 filter over 70 minutes. And no, it is not "way closer than in 1957." The size and position have not changed. Here is an animation of the two shots from 1951 (where it looks brighter) and the image from 1990: :GN05392:
In it you will see that on the Google Sky website the infamous Planet X, also know as Nibiru is right there in plain site. The image had a big blacked out section for the longest time and has now been removed.
Is this definitive proof that the fabled planet does in fact exist?
You decide.
