How do you reconcile that?
Strong is relative. I think Alex would be shocked and mortified by just how dictorially strong this central gov has become.
Right. Hamilton's idea of a strong central government is exemplified by his support for the Constitution. The government proposed in the Constitution alone was much stronger than what they had with the Articles of Confederation... Think of it like this... back then people were afraid that the Constitution was over reaching. What would they think now?
“The complete independence of the courts of justice is peculiarly essential in a limited Constitution. By a limited Constitution, I understand one which contains certain specified exceptions to the legislative authority .... Limitations of this kind can be preserved in practice no other way than through the medium of courts of justice, whose duty it must be to declare all acts contrary to the manifest tenor of the Constitution void. Without this, all the reservations of particular rights or privileges would amount to nothing.”

Alexander Hamilton co-authored the Federalist Papers and was dedicated to the ratification of the Constitution of the United States.

Before the ratification of the U.S. Constitution the 13 states formed a loose union with the Articles of Confederation. Because the Articles didn't provide for economic stability and a strong continental army the union was near collapse only 8 years after the Revolutionary War.

If Hamilton hadn't greatly contributed to the ratification of the U.S. Constitution our country very well may not have existed for over a decade.
First they divide us and ban a symbol of resistance to abusive federal authority using racism and now they will remove Hamilton from the face U.S. currency using racism as well.
