Original Message Stone Mountain State Park has again fallen under attack by liberal activist groups only two weeks after LaDawn Jones, a Georgia state representative, called for the removal of the historic Confederate flag terrace at the park that, thankfully, was protected by state law.

Members of the Atlanta NAACP chapter recently voiced concerns over a massive memorial carved into the side of a mountain that features President Jefferson Davis and Gens. Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson — the faces of the Confederacy.

NAACP leaders called for the removal or destruction of the memorial, which is not only a part of American history, but also happens to be the largest low relief or “bas relief” sculpture in the world.
