Original Message So I went . The infection migrated from the tooth and parked its fat ass right in my sinus. Now Im nursing THE WORST sinus infection I've ever had in my 38 years .

I was on prednisone for tmj from gnawing my jaw when it was in my tooth . TMJ is now gone . Also Im on like day 7 or so of penicillin which I dont think is actually doing anything to the infection . In fact it seems slightly worse than it did a couple days ago . Maybe due to being done with the prednisone ? dunno .

So now im on the penicillin 4 200 mg ibuprophen every 8 hrs and just started a shot of franks red hot hot sauce every hour .

Question is do you guys think the capsasin in the hot sauce may burn out the infection taking shots ? I mean the fumes ?

It sure helped clear the congestion . But I can still feel a mass in my sinus that doesnt wanna break up.
