This is going to be a bit of a rant here... But I will pose questions I hope will strike up intelligent conversation amidst shill posts.
I have some questions that have been bugging me for a while now. I have been "awake" for a few years now, self proclaimed of course.
I have seen lots of big and questionable events take place, waited a few days and seen the 'community' tear apart these events clouding the legitimacy of them and bringing the community to accept that they are false flag operations of sorts.
I've seen a lot of doom porn, a lot of dates come and go, and a lot of events 'prophecised' to occur and then they never do.
We always say "when SHTF".. But we never really discuss what would happen if it actually did hit the fan
Regardless of what happens, if anything does happen in the next few years... Be it nuclear warfare, a giant terrorist attack, economic collapse, Martial Law takeover, or even lets say NWO finally tries to implement itself..
We always talk like there will be a time after that where we are in a state of total anarchy. We have all these preppers preparing for a world post-SHTF, and whenever I hear them talking they always talk like we would be in a state where there are absolutely no laws.. As if people would be going around murdering each other as a means for survival.
It really paints a weird picture, almost like a cut from The Walking Dead or something where the world is at a standstill.. Where no one is watching the TV - there's nothing to watch; no one is going out to dinner because there is no longer order.. Life as we had known it was over. Total anarchy.
I've long entertained a world of anarchy. Some of it really entices me, and others make me fear the day we would ever descend to that level.
The point I am getting at, I suppose, is that we never really go into length talking about what a post-SHTF world would look like.. But I get this impression that people think any single event - or even a string of them would push the world, or maybe just North America, into total anarchy.
That doesn't seem realistic to me. We have so many government agencies, so many plans in place that account for so much more than zombies taking over.. I just cannot see us getting to a state where there is no governmental power that people fear, where people feel the only way they will make it to the next day would be to kill someone else, and that killing wouldn't eventually land them in jail..
Could we really ever descend that deep? To a state of total anarchy?
There are people who prep, and I would never take anything away from them, because if I was in a position to do so, I would.
To make something clear, I do not support our administration, nor any administration that has governed while I have been alive. I do not believe they have our interests even in the back of their minds. I do not believe that we could ever be put into a state where anarchy could creep in with any single event aside from something on the level of nuclear warfare. I just do not think that the hideous stances that people have taken in this day and age of social media would ever be that outraged that they would over throw this government.
What would it take for people to say "okay, it has really hit the fan."
AND
What does a post SHTF world look like? Not years after, but immediately after. Would we really experience that level of darkness??
