A 2.5 magnitude earthquake was reported in Somerset County, New Jersey early Friday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-2.5 quake hit around 3:41 a.m. Friday, roughly 2 miles north of Bernardsville at a depth of 3 miles.
