Three what appeared to be C-17s flying in formation buzzed over the house at 1,000 feet or less. They would break formation as they approached the mountains to the north, then loop back one two or three at a time. They repeated this 8 or 9 times, but haven't been back through for the last 15 minutes. I have never seen this kind of activity in the ~30 years I've lived in this area. No major airports nearby, and we are a couple of hours north of Harrisburg so we don't get any of the military traffic from there. It was just really weird, so thought I would share.
What is a C-17 never heard of it
They looked like this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_C-17_Globemaster_III
