The War on Cops continues -- it appears this officer was targeted because he was in uniform, on his way to work ...
Thoughts and prayers for the fallen officer, his family, and ALL of you who are part of the Blue Line Family!

Memphis police officer shot and killed
Last Updated Oct 12, 2015 2:18 AM EDT
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- An off-duty Memphis police officer shot in Cordova, Tennessee, on Sunday has died, police tell CBS affiliate WREG.
Police responded to the scene shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. The victim was transported to Regional Medical Center in critical condition following the shooting, but died shortly after. Relatives of the officer could be seen crying outside the hospital.
WREG reports that police identified the officer as 32-year-old Terence Olridge. He has been on the force since September 2014, working at Airways Station.
Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong said officers got a call around 1 p.m. about a shooting at a home in the Memphis suburb of Cordova. He said a male suspect is in custody, but didn't say whether the person has been charged.

The victim's uncle told WREG the officer was on his way to work in his uniform when he was shot in his car. He was able to crawl back to the house to get help, the uncle said.
Olridge leaves behind a fiancé, who is four months pregnant, according to Armstrong.
