Original Message Tried to drive up to get a better look at the thing and they have security everywhere. Talked to the guy that owns the land (friend of a friend) it crashed on, and even he's not allowed to drive his four wheeler anywhere close.

Yeah, it was shot down - officially by PA state troopers. That's not the local talk though. Damn thing was dragging its tether and knocking power lines out. Most likely a local did it, but nobody stupid enough to admit it, so troopers are taking the heat from the fed for shooting it down.

Got a cruddy picture in the local paper, and nobody can get close enough to take any better ones.

That's pretty much all I got, but will answer any questions I can.
