Original Message A Dayton police officer was assigned to watch Frito Lay, 49 Kelly Ave., specifically the dumpster where they put expired product, as it’s a popular place for theft, according to a police report.

Around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, the officer observed Offinger inside the fenced area by the dumpster; saw him jump the fence and flee on foot. The officer tried to stop him, but he was later picked up.
