Appears to have been felt in at least 6 states so far that's been reported.

EDITED TO ADD: The earthquake area does cross over into South Central Kansas and are considered, at least in my opinion, to be part of the larger swarming area that goes from South Central Kansas into North Central Oklahoma.

Based on the chart I posted originally on November 20, 2015, the uptick in earthquakes in South Central Kansas and North Central Oklahoma began in 2009.

EDITED TO ADD: Here is a smilie representing all the earthquakes in South Central Kansas and North Central Oklahoma since 2009, the year we began to see an uptick in earthquakes for this part of the county.

Minor quake damage reported at Wichita facilities

"Some City of Wichita facilities were damaged in two overnight earthquakes, which were centered in Oklahoma.

Director of Public Works Alan King says city workers have found several cracks in buildings. Patrol East had a crack in the cement floor. There were cracks in the walls at some other buildings, as well.

. . .

City workers are inspecting bridges as a precaution."

Wichita activates earthquake response plan after Oklahoma quakes

"Wichita has activated the Earthquake Response Plan.

'Yes, we have an earthquake response plan,' says Joe Pajor, Wichita’s Deputy director of Public Works. 'We have had three locations impacted overnight with our water pipes.'

Pajor says they are sending out earthquake response teams to look for damage.

City Public Works Director Alan King says damage has been found.

'One of our pump stations buildings had some cracks in the wall. Nothing that looks like at this point that we think would cause a problem with the building continuing to be occupied and used,' says King.

The Wichita Police Department’s East patrol station has a new crack in the cement floor from overnight.

Earthquake damages Hutchinson homes
Shaking caught by Wichita liquor store surveillance camera

"It's the largest earthquake felt in Kansas in nearly five years. The 5.1 magnitude quake centered near Fairview, OK at 11:07AM and was felt as far away as Kansas City.

People in the Wichita area say earthquake was the strongest they've ever felt.
And two families in Hutchinson say it caused cracks in their walls and ceilings.

. . .

The shaking from the earthquake was felt across Kansas, and it had businesses in Wichita worried too.

Boxes and bottles shaking at Cocktail Time Wine and Spirits was caught on the store's surveillance cameras Saturday morning."

Wichita reports damage from 5.1 magnitude quake felt across Kansas

"Wichita city leaders say there is damage.

“'We did find that some of the cracks that were caused by the last earthquake had gotten a little bit bigger,' says Alan King, Director of Public Works & Utilities.

King says the city’s earthquake response team, consisting of about a dozen engineers and inspectors, was dispatched an hour after the earthquake.

. . .

Wichita city leaders say last time there was a strong earthquake in Oklahoma, there was damage to city infrastructure. In that earthquake event the city had multiple broken water main lines, some damage to water holding tanks and even some buckling in the floor of a Wichita Police Substation.

King says they found that some cracks from the last earthquake did expand, but no major damage was found during their initial assessment.

The earthquake response team will go back out Tuesday morning and do a more thorough inspection, even for fairly small damage.

. . .

Haysville resident Bruce smith has lived in Kansas for two years, after spending most of his life in Los Angeles, California.

Smith was surprised by the strength of today’s earthquake.

. . .

The temblors are the latest in a series of earthquakes some say are linked to the injection of wastewater underground from oil and gas production.

The quake is the strongest yet felt in south central Kansas."
