A woman in her 70s has died and five other people have been injured in a horrific Christmas Eve crash after a car drove into a Costa Coffee shop this morning.
The black Audi A4 careered into the side of the shop in Westerham, Kent, after being seen to have clipped cars on the way - and an elderly couple inside had to be cut free by fire crews.
Witnesses described a ‘large bang like a bomb had gone off’ and a ‘big explosion’ upon impact at about 10.30am, while one local shopper described it as the worst accident they had ever seen.

Two motorists have been cut free from their vehicle and 12 more are injured after a bus careered into a charity building in Peterborough city centre following a collision with a car.
The single-decker bus collided with the Kia car as it was travelling through the Broadway area of the city just before midday.
It then ploughed into an office building, where Guide Dogs for the Blind is housed. The building has been left with severe structural damage.
