I remember one weird college dream, where there was this class that I kept "forgetting" about. I would forget what days I had the class, miss 75% of the classes, and just blow it off. Every now and then, it would be stressful remembering that class. "Oh no, I need to sort out XYZ class". "Am I still enrolled in XYZ class?". "Oh no, I'm missing all of the assignments in XYZ class!". Etc. ;) Neat how the mind works.
I've had the... missed 75% of the classes dream and panic related to feeling like I was enrolled in a class I forgot about and never went to over a dozen times. It always stresses me out... it all seems so real in the dream!
I have had this reoccurring dream and thought nothing of it, although the scenario never happened to me in real life. I signed up for a college class and missed most if not all class days, then showed up the day of the first test and freaked out.
In the last couple years I have heard two different and unrelated radio talk show hosts admit to the same re-occurring dream and waking up in a state of panic. (I heard the 2nd host just today.)
Is this some kind of collective unconscious common dream that many people share ?
