[quote:deanoZXT:MV8zMTE2ODE0XzU1NTgyMDMxXzU1QUUzNDA2] I was watching local 5 o'clock news. They were showing video ot the Good Samaritan talking with some police in the parking lot. He looked like an older man in his 60s and was visibly shaken up. Apparently the man with the hatchet was charging to attack the Good Samaritan after he had cut the clerk. The Good Samaritan had a Concealed Carry Permit. http://www.king5.com/story/homepage/2016/03/13/customer-shoots-kills-hatchet-wielding-man/81728302/ The customer, a 60-year-old Seattle man, was not injured. Sgt. Cindi West said ultimately the case will be forwarded to the prosecutors office for evaluation but the initial stages of this investigation show no wrongdoing. “[The] customer, the shooter, is shaken up but from everything that we see right now from the scene – there’s no wrongdoing on his part, Sgt. West said. "In fact, he probably saved a life in this case.” -Claps for Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriffs Dept. A cop that's on our side for once. I know the man had a Concealed Carry Permit and absolutely stopped more attacks. Even so, cops for the most part hate when we can protect ourselves.
BOULEVARD PARK, Wash. —A masked customer attacked a Burien 7-Eleven clerk Sunday morning with a hatchet, slicing the clerk’s stomach.
Police say another customer pulled out a gun and shot and killed the attacker. The Good Samaritan had been sitting in the store, drinking his regular morning coffee.
When asked if the masked man made any demands of the clerk, King County PIO Cindi West said,
“What everybody says is that he didn’t say anything. He just walked in the store, had the hatchet, and started attacking people.”

Chalk one more up for the good guys!
There's an eyewitness video interview if you scroll down a bit. Although it's hard to understand the two men. But it sounds like they knew the Good Samaritan and he was a regular for his morning coffee.
I don't know, but it's weird the man walked in and just started to attack people, not saying a word.
