Original Message I took my daughter to the Trump Rally in Costa Mesa, CA on 4/28/16. We got there over 90 minutes early but the line to get in was extremely long. With the pace of the line, we were about 30 minutes away from the entrance at 7pm and people started walking past us saying that the venue had been closed. The line started to disband, so we moved up as close as we could to the entrance gates. Although the gates were closed, people were chanting off and on "Let us in!" A few crazies climbed up on the scaffolding above the entrance gate. Apparently there were at least a dozen or more police on the other side of the gate.

Eventually, the police on horseback pushed in and forced everyone away from the entrance gates. We eventually left around 8:30. Bummed we didn't get inside the venue. Maybe next time they come to Orange County they will get a venue twice as big.
