A driver in Fort McMurray barely escapes a catastrophic wildfire that has devastated his town. The Fort McMurray wildfire spans over 2,500 hectares, has destroyed over 1,000 homes, and has forced the evacuation of 88,000 people. An army of firefights (~1100, to be exact) are working endlessly to get the fire under control. Unfortunately however, authorities believe the fire will remain out of control until more favorable weather conditions arise.
8000 people have had to be airlifted out and Alberta has declared a state of emergency.
Welcome to Hell where its raining embers.
