They are quietly and fairly rapidly getting their claws into all of SE Asia. Their manmade island military bases are just more visible. Through the rest of SE Asia mainland, they have bought and paid for almost every government (Vietnam excluded) with loans and infrastructure projects that they cannot afford, but has lined the pockets of their corrupt governments.
