I have heard a funny story about the Lipan scouts. They are so bold they will hide right in front of you and you will see them after it is too late. They will hide right on the trail and focal point where one least expects. lol [/quote] Yup. Your mind can only process 24 frames a second. That's why movies are 24 frames a second. Literally your bodies are completely unable to process the information fast enough. And as was mentioned, it can happen at any time. The slendermen are very professional and quick when they are given the go a head. Most of the targets on the list don't even feel the nail slide in their skull and pierce their pineal gland or the disconnect of the corpus callosum that holds the hemispheres of the brain together. The rest of the nails in the cart are just cause they deserve it. Most of them don't deserve an open casket so they help remodel the window if they are high enough up and they make a big mess. Duat (pronounced "do-aht") (also Tuat and Tuaut or Akert, Amenthes, Amenti, or Neter-khertet) was the realm of the dead in ancient Egyptian mythology. It was the realm of the deity Osiris and the residence of other gods and supernatural beings. The Duat was the region through which the sun god Ra traveled from west to east during the night, and where he battled Apep. It was also the place where people's souls went after death for judgement, though that was not the full extent of the afterlife.[1] Burial chambers formed touching-points between the mundane world and the Duat, and spirits could use tombs to travel back and forth from the Duat.
