Chance had it became upon a sphinx buried all but the head in Sakkara connecting it between Cairo and Alexandria. The inscription found on it was to apis the bull of Memphis. Instantly brought to mind the lost alley of the sphinxes. At that time never found. So he began his search there for it bringing 140 sphinxes to light in his dig. Today is called the Serapeum/serapeion after god Serapis. The alley of the sphinxes at one time connected to two temples. The marking on the bulls forehead is the white triangle meaning he is sacred among his kind.
Just noticed the water spider in the bringing fire to man story has the triangle on the forehead as well in Eastern natives emblem.
Spider made its point. Lol, just crawled on my arm out of nowhere
:ahhh:
The spider wanted to fly apparently lol
Duat (pronounced "do-aht") (also Tuat and Tuaut or Akert, Amenthes, Amenti, or Neter-khertet) was the realm of the dead in ancient Egyptian mythology. It was the realm of the deity Osiris and the residence of other gods and supernatural beings. The Duat was the region through which the sun god Ra traveled from west to east during the night, and where he battled Apep. It was also the place where people's souls went after death for judgement, though that was not the full extent of the afterlife.[1] Burial chambers formed touching-points between the mundane world and the Duat, and spirits could use tombs to travel back and forth from the Duat.
