Philip Rahtz found several dozen flints from the upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic, and a sherd of Iron Age pottery nearby. Roman and medieval sherds were also found in more recent layers.[2] Water issues from the spring at a rate of 250,000 imperial gallons (1,100,000 litres) per day and has never failed, even during drought. Iron oxide deposits give water a reddish hue, as dissolved ferrous oxide becomes oxidized at the surface and is precipitated. Like the hot springs in the nearby city of Bath's Roman built baths, the water is reputed to possess healing qualities. Another spring, known as the White Spring, emerges slightly east of the Chalice Well or Red Spring. The water from this comes from a shallower aquifer and is colourless.[1] A building, originally a waterworks, has been built over it. This building now serves as a place of worship and visitors are admitted at irregular opening times. Went there in my dreams last night lol Noting
I would like to hear more about it!
There was 3 parts or locations and that was the last one in the dream. I noticed because of the look of it and seeing it before. The other two locations I need to figure out exactly but I know same country. You could tell moving through time periods by the amount of people or lack of in dream. I did get inside there to see how far it went and how narrow and then when I got out there was some people there and told them a little bit. I recall hearing about it that it connects to something and that’s why I went inside it.
two other people I know had a similar dream regarding this well...I find that very interesting... it must be calling to you folks! thank you for sharing
Recently?
no this was some time ago on another site
Heard the acoustic version yesterday driving this song makes sense of what was in the well.
oh...that seems like a tough spot to find yourself, but makes sense
The overview is, the funeral is of the misconceptions, the oral history, and beliefs etc
there is so much going on the layers in this are pretty amazing lol *gets low in pocket* :wavecrash:
The air well. Duat (pronounced "do-aht") (also Tuat and Tuaut or Akert, Amenthes, Amenti, or Neter-khertet) was the realm of the dead in ancient Egyptian mythology. It was the realm of the deity Osiris and the residence of other gods and supernatural beings. The Duat was the region through which the sun god Ra traveled from west to east during the night, and where he battled Apep. It was also the place where people's souls went after death for judgement, though that was not the full extent of the afterlife.[1] Burial chambers formed touching-points between the mundane world and the Duat, and spirits could use tombs to travel back and forth from the Duat.
