Original Message I'm going crazy. I live on the second floor of a cape. The living room where the fire alarm is has a cathedral ceiling with a fan also. Since alarm is way up there, I have to reach it with a pole to press green button to shut off. Ten minutes later it goes off again.

Does anyone know how I can disconnect it altogether?
