Original Message The Constitutional, freedom loving people in this country need to wake up to the fact that we are involved in a war. Today. Right this very second. Currently, it is a low intensity affair with the leftists way out in the lead. That low intensity won't last much longer though. They realized this was a war many years back and began treating it like one. Now, we are at a tipping point of this little war we refuse to acknowledge. Where loosely organized groups become well organized insurgencies and things rapidly begin to unravel.

This is how it is going to go down. You can already see it happening and identify some of the players. As you read below, you will see just how far behind we Constitution loving citizens really are and why we have to start taking this a lot more seriously than we have.

Phase 1 - Never let a crisis go to waste.

Phase 1 is the building phase. Objectives are to build numbers and support within the population. Violence is not an objective during this phase but isn't ruled out if an opportunity presents itself.

Groups plan and select targets, usually urban centers or rural areas with similar ideology or demographics to their own. Groups will also take advantage of generic world and local events and will take steps to create events to increase exposure and help gather support.

This is usually about the time a combined leadership begins to emerge and form. A shadow government is often formed at this stage as well with intent to replace local or regional governments as the conflict advances.

Military style training begins at this stage. Usually in smaller groups. Often one or several training and command bases are created and staffed during this stage.

Various operations are carried out in an attempt to exploit grievances, heighten expectations, influence the population and begin to build combined group loyalty. Phase one usually comes with the infiltration of opposition organizations and government organizations as well. Frequent hit and run or terror style attacks on government and/or opposition forces begin to happen just before the transition into phase 2.

Phase 2 - Kill them while they sleep.

Phase 2 is full on Guerrilla Warfare. When support for the group is sufficient to support combined operations, they begin. Everything from violent protest to full on terrorist style attacks. Government and opposition facilities and human assets are at significant risk during this period. Assassinations are not uncommon and attacks that can injure or kill are frequent.

Significant amounts of territory begin to fall under military control of the group at this point and a shift into a more traditional command and control structure begins to occur.

The shadow government mentioned earlier begins to take control in pacified areas as they fall under military control of the now insurgency. The major goal of the insurgency is to significantly expand their control to more areas while destabilizing or capturing supply, communication and commerce where they are able.

Phase 3 - Total war.

Phase 3 begins when the insurgency has enough support, supply, forces and equipment to face opposition or government forces in a traditional manner. Operations in Phase 1 and 2 continue to operate and rapidly expand during this phase. Larger and larger forces begin to fight government and/or opposition forces with the objective of capturing key geographic, cultural and military targets. The ultimate goal during phase 3 is to militarily defeat opposition and government forces completely.

More often than not, these conflicts don't make it out of Phase 2 and will often get stuck there.

With all of this in mind, I have one question for you.

How hard do you think it is to make war on an enemy who actively refuses to acknowledge there is a war on?
