Original Message I was traveling east on I-20 near Abilene, TX, home of Dyess AFB when 3 B1-B Lancer strategic bombers flew over in formation. I have traveled this area for many years and have never seen 3 up at one time. I see one quite often, but never 3, or even 2. War coming?

Dyess AFB info: The host unit at Dyess is the 7th Bomb Wing (7 BW) assigned to the Global Strike Command Eighth Air Force. The 7 BW is one of only two B-1B Lancer strategic bomber wings in the United States Air Force, the other being the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota.
