I never thought I'd come first to GLP for a bible question, but there are some people here who know their stuff, so I'll probably get my answer here quicker than anywhere else.....
Ok, who or who all .... when God told them what he wanted for them do do, said back to him something like "please, not me, don't ask me to do that God it's too big and I could never do that.... etc etc etc.
I don't know who this could have been in the old testament other than God telling Noah to build the Ark.
Did Christ say something to this effect when God told him what he was to do (esp when he was told that he was going to be crucified?)
Maybe Mary when she was going to be carrying and giving birth to Christ?
