I gotta say, this year's going to be a challenge. Because sometimes it's not as simple as just going into another room, or not showing up at all. These are the types who, no matter what, they are so indoctrinated that there really is no reasoning or reaching them in any way, and it's time to shake the dust off my boots and march on. I don't want to be around these people, and what's sad is that some of them are my blood relatives (some are married in).
Anyway...
I was hoping that this thread could be an advice thread so that those of us who have no choice but to be surrounded by creepy, intolerant, brainwashed liberals this holiday might have some recourse or strategy of how to be surrounded by personalities/mindsets you pity and loathe with every cell of your being.
I have no clue, myself. If it were up to me, i'd bail on the whole damn thing.
