[quote:Anonymous Coward 77172959:MV8zNDgxODg1XzcyNTI4MDcwXzkwNjcxMjhB] Potassium naturally reduces BP. You can also take arginine and citrilline which expand the blood vessels reducing pressure. Also take nattokinase...a Japanese supplement used to treat high blood pressure. I take lisinopril and htz and it brings my no down all day from 150+ to 130. Lower if I throw in potassium. [/quote]

So I just took my blood pressure and it's at 169/96 (hypertension stage 2 / hypertension stage 1)
I've ordered some CoQ10 and garlic extract supplements..as they are both supposedly good for cardiovascular health and getting down blood pressure, from what I've read online.
Besides cutting down on salt and cutting out caffeine (which I have started) what does GLP recommend? I would rather get this under control myself than be prescribed to a medication for the rest of my life.
