Everybody against Latin Kings. It makes no sense to me. Latin Kings are heavy in drug trafficking. They need the dope to make money. All these Mexican gangs are driving mi vida loca. No more black gangs. Now we got Mexican gangs on the streets. KKK are in politics and spread their hate in Midwest but that's about it.
It should make sense. Their leaders turned informant on their suppliers - the cartels - specifically Sinaloa and its leadership - but others are involved, as well. They made a power play and now everyone is turning on them - beginning with those they sold out. This effects every other cartel and every other gang in Chicago and across the country. Think any cartel supplier is going to do business with these guys after they pulled that? Sure, the others can step into Sinaloa's shoes, but they aren't known to do business with organizations with a known informant problem at the level of leadership. Hence, a systematic decision was made. You see, the thing about centralization - or attempted centralization - of control is the house of cards comes down. And that is now what's happening for the Latin Kings who are quite fucked now.
So why did they do that (inform on the cartel) knowing this would be the result?
The entire Latin King leadership discovered to be federal informants - ratting out all of their south of the border cartel leadership contacts and attempting to seize control of the cartel operations at the behest of the US federal government! Imprisoned leaders of both the People and Folks gang alliances have met and decided on a course of action to now slow down inter-alliance gang warfare and to focus their guns on the Latin Kings as a whole throughout the city and across the country. Several noteworthy decisions have been taken:
1. Latin Kings kicked out of the People alliance and stripped of their 5 point crown.
2. All Latin King leaders now classified as informants and stripped of all protection in the prison systems.
3. All street-level Latin King sets subject to pressure to dissolve. All treaties and alliances with People alliance street gangs rescinded.
4. Non-leadership Latin Kings to be heavily vetted and screened upon trying to join other street gang organizations for being informants. Guilty until proven innocent.
5. All Latin Kings and their families south of the border given 3 months to leave the country.
6. All out against street sets of Latin Kings to begin on July 4th.
...hold on tight in Chicago. Rivers of blood are coming.
In case some want to know how it escalated to this. This is just the tip of iceberg.
