This is why many did not get the invites to the inauguration.
Just wow. The US Postal Service has been caught in violation of the Hatch Act. They broke federal law when their union employees actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates – they allowed them to take unpaid “union official” leave. The Hatch Act prohibits certain governmental employees from getting involved in political campaigns. They say any violation of law was unintended. That’s not good enough. They are a federal agency and are required to know the law. Furthermore, I don’t believe they didn’t know. I don’t see how they couldn’t have known.
The Office of Special Counsel is now saying that nearly 100 employees of the postal service violated the law when they took a leave from work to participate in the AFL-CIO’s “Labor 2016 program.” This shows a blatant bias towards the Democratic Party and it is the doing of the union. The workers took weeks off from their jobs to work on campaigns and they were reimbursed by the National Association of Letter Carriers for their campaign work. They were campaigning for pro-worker, pro-union candidates. In other words, communists.
