[quote:Anonymous Coward 72571614:MV8zNTk5NjczXzY1NDcyNzIxX0YzNzRGQzEx] Sorcery of the Ov & the Y'doa is forbidden....ie, evil spirits and messing around with the dead. But many of these people say they associate it as a psychological reflection, an inteospective tool or that they regard it as seeking heaven's guidance or perspective and I think according to the manual, "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me" and "thou shalt test any spirits that come to you" pretty much covers that one would think? "Don't be Google" heh One thing I noticed is that all those cards are associated with constellations and represent houses and degrees....so if one had the head, they could look at it as astronomical configurations? I noticed that because genesis states that god said "let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven.....and let tjem be for signs and for seasons and for days and fir years" (gen: 1:14 So i wondered really, in the final analysis if it doesn't lead to that? Symbols of the signs god left up there? So mayne the mind/spirit of the thinker is a factor? [/quote]

I have a friend who reads tarot cards for money and she seems like a very nice girl, but I can't get past the fact that she is probably allowing herself to become open conduit for demonic influence in her life.
From a Christian standpoint, tarot cards are pretty much a direct way of communicating with evil spirits isn't it? It has been tempting to hang out with her more and she has even shown some subtle romantic interest, but I can't help but feel that she will just bring me down spiritually. I took her to church before and she said that she had stopped doing the tarots, but after not seeing her for a while she started doing them again and just ended up charging more money for her readings.
I'm only asking for a Biblical, Christian perspective on this. I feel like I am being tempted into getting more attached to someone who is going to stumble my walk.
