The spinning theory should work in the micro-cosmos as well as in the macro-cosmos. Why would there be any difference between the 2 realities? More probable is that orbitals are a micro-phenomena also as well as a macro-phenomena. I think it is the simplest explanation from the Rutherford experiment which serves as a confirmation of this.

I explained somewhere above here, in this thread, how I see the atomic structure, based on spinning, but I can repeat it here:

As I see it then, the protons and electrons are spinning fast and thereby creating a magnetic field each with a N-pole and a S-pole. Btw. neutrons can be a result of negative spinning and positive spinning objects, knit together by magnetic force, you know N-S attracted by S-N, however, still having then a plus-side and a minus-side.
