You meet a man or woman, and for the few minutes you are in each other’s presence, this person’s look, expression and smile fill your heart with love. A week or even only a day later, you meet this same man or woman again, and you are astonished to find that you no longer feel anything. This is because the love you glimpsed has travelled on; it is no longer there. Love is a quintessence too subtle to be fixed, so you must go in search of it."
