One of her majors is Mien Shiang (myen shung) - Chinese face reading. Now I'm reading all the books too - they are really fascinating and seem pretty accurate. Yesterday I started pulling up faces of people I was curious about, to see what Mien Shiang would tell me about them. I studied Trump Pence Keanu Reeves Elon Musk Jim Carrey The Catholic paintings of Jesus The depictions of Socrates Mel Gibson and a few others I can't remember. . . I was surprised at what I saw. I am by no means an expert - but I have done the reading, and now a little practice. Anybody interested in a particular face? I will give it my best shot to tell you what I see.
Oh well if that doesn't pan out You can always go back to thw tarot cards. Or Crystals or chicken bones. Or just get a job.
LOL, in spite of your negativity, you bring up a good point. Mien Shiang is not based on any kind of majic. A few millenia ago, Chinese wise men realized that human emotions and actions were reflected in facial expressions - as well as posture and health and speech. If you are angry, you clench your brows together. If you are sad, you cry. These emotions leave wrinkles and even influence the growth of the face through youth, resulting in certain features. The interesting thing is that you can potentially change your own face with your perspectives. If you learn to be more loving, trusting, confident in action, etc. . . your face will atually change to some degree. So will your health and your voice. . . It's the idea that DNA doesn't shape expression - expression shapes DNA.
okay i feel mean now. To a point if you frown a lot sure you'll get creases. but this is a simplistic generalization and the problem with Chinese philosophy . An example, you can be perfectly happy and content but your job is a Gardner, landscaper, etc working in the sun, causing squinting frowning.A reaction over time to bright sunlight hitting your face causing wrinkles. . theory therefore flawed.
