[quote:Anonymous Coward 48394323:MV8zNzM0NzIxXzY2ODMyNTc0XzlEREQ2RkY3] Enzymes are proteins, so carbohydrates cannot be synthesised into proteins (which are composed of amino acids). However, the vitamins and minerals in fruit are important adjuncts to manufacture of amino acids (and enzyme synthesis) by the body. [/quote]
Original Message
So I understand that protein is broken down into exams when consumed by the body. Fruit has no protein in it it has nothing but carbohydrates. I was wondering if the body digests fruit; are the digested carbohydrates Synthesized into enzymes? I was wondering if enzymes what is the proper term or if protein was more proper.
