Original Message I'm seeing a lot of posts on Facebook about a flash in the sky last night around 9 pm CST that had a whirring sound. As it occurred, electricity flickered and some car stereos cut in and out. OPPD in Omaha has a statement that it was a blip in a transmission line. But comments on Facebook sound like it happened from Texas to North Dakota.
