Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is reportedly prepared to shut down the government if he can’t get the Senate to vote on his proposal to grant amnesty to at least three million illegal immigrants.
Lindsey Graham’s “bipartisan” deal is disgraceful. It is yet another betrayal. Once again, Lindsey “Grahamnesty” has lined up behind the radical open-borders zealots in the Democratic Party to nullify Donald Trump’s campaign promises and sell out the American people. This time he is willing to risk a government shutdown to do it.
Lindsey Graham wasn’t willing to shut down the government to save the health insurance premiums of American citizens. He won’t bother to shut down the government to save the lives of unborn Americans in the womb.
He cares not for the debt burden heaped upon rising generations of Americans and won’t shut down the government to demand an end our fiscal insanity. No, Sen. Graham stands by and wags his finger at conservatives as health insurance premiums skyrocket, as Planned Parenthood rips apart little babies with government aid, and as the debt eclipses the American economy and consigns future generations to serfdom.
Here are the Americans that will be hurt by Lindsey Graham shutting down the government for his illegals. (not in article, from my own search)
Military: Active-duty military personnel would stay on duty, but their paychecks would be delayed. Lindsey Graham will make our troops suffer in his quest for amnesty.
Social Security, Medicare and unemployment benefits would be paid, but new applications for those payments could be delayed. Again Americans get screwed for Lindsey Grahams quest for amnesty.
Food safety: Most routine safety inspections would be halted. Our food will be less safe because of Lindsey Graham's quest for amnesty.
