(like me) your method is free of any cost, can be used as needed, and is really nice to know. like eye exercises.....used in Germany to make glasses less necessary. put your index finger on the tip of your nose and move it out as far as you can. focus your eyes on it. bring the finger slowly back to your nose, keeping the focus the whole time. move it away again, retaining your gaze on it. this strengthens the muscles used for focus.
interesting... thanks B. i HATE having to wear glasses to read.
Ok, this is something I learned on my own.
I've had sinus problems for most of my life. At one point I was taking rather large doses of puesdophrine (sic). That became a huge hassle because of the regulations buying it.
And then I found out the following, and you might try it for yourself.
If I tense the muscles in the front of my face, (hard to describe exactly how but the closest I can come up with is flaring your nostrils) and hold that tension for a minute or so; I feel the passages opening up.
Been doing it for quite a while now to the point that it sort of automatic. I have had much, much less congestion as a result and no need to medicate.
Try it and see if it works for you. It certainly can't hurt anything and costs nothing.
