But the problem is that they end up destroying their children's life because of their own selfishness.

And yes I am married and I have been married for close to 20 years. And yes there have been times that I have felt like getting a divorce and she has felt the same, but the truth is that I am an adult and I made a promise to her when I got married and I intend to keep that promise no matter how I feel. And yes there are children in the picture. So for me when I get in a disagreement with my wife its better to come to an understanding like adults and forgive each other instead of putting my arm in a wood chipper as so many men do through divorce.

Original Message Every time government gets involved, they ruin everything. Marriage rates are at all time lows because it's such a bad deal for men to get married. I believe in the institution of marriage, but it needs reform. If people could form their own marriage contracts without government intervention, the family might still have a shot.
