Original Message Something's afoot:
First China unveiled their gold-backed Petroyuan last week,
and now Russia has been hoarding silver. Not for a silver-backed Ruble, but for an actual 90% silver coin for circulation. Like most nations used till the mid 1950s or so.

This guy makes a good argument for this case. Right now, the Rooskis are keeping this under wrap.
