No splatter, no lingering smell.
i've been told to grill it outside but I don't have a big fancy grill. chopping it up I get a lot fried in bigger batches and it takes less time. I do this so regularly it was such a pain for so long and now I found a method and no splatter. I hate that lingering smell too, I always have to shower after I'm done too.
A cheap $129 gas grill and a stainless steel griddle will get you going. If you keep the cheap grill out of the weather and use grill mats and a griddle, it will last a long time. I upgraded to a higher end grill several years back and bought the additional griddle inserts for it. When I do bacon, I go for that thick sliced stuff and grill up 4 pounds at a time. Zip loc it up and microwave when needed. Beats the heck out of that paper thin pre-cooked stuff that hormel sells.
I don't want to have to deal with gas and it running out in the middle of cooking. I wouldn't mind if my husband took care of it but I would have to run out and exchange those cans myself and I have too much anxiety to drive with something like that in my car lol. sounds like you know what you are doing though! all the pictures and recipes I'm posting here are mine. If you have any of your own please share them.
ketogenic is a low carb high fat woe (way of eating), typically no grain carbs but I like to have a low carb tortilla every now and then.
food prep is very important and bacon is a staple. I fry at least 3 pounds every 2 weeks. I've tried so many methods on how to keep the splatter at bay, baking frying, I was always getting a huge mess until I saw one of these on the internet, a splatter guard.
:splatterguard:
It comes in 10 inch and 12 inch, I haven't tried it yet I was just seeing how it fits on a 12 inch pan. I ordered it directly from China at aliexpress and it's way cheaper than going through a middle man, 1/3 of the price, I paid $10.
waiting for bacon pic to upload, the easiest method I found was to chop up the bacon into bits and it's just the way everyone likes it.
