I eat them daily usually after a meal, in chia seeds or just when I'm hungry but don't have a taste for anything, they usually fill me up. I keep them in my freezer so they don't go rancid and I buy the chopped pieces because they are cheaper. They don't freeze but taste nice cold. :ketowalnuts:
My favorite nuts are almonds. Just make sure to get the salted ones. You need some extra salt on keto.
they don't have omega 3 in them, my husband only eats those too but sometimes I sneak walnuts in his bag pretending we are out of almond. I don't have a problem with my electrolytes. I was getting cramps in the beginning because of all the water loss and my doctor tested me and I was normal. she said the slightest fluctuation will cause cramping so I don't need to worry about it, she's monitoring me and I get blood work done every couple months.
Powerade Zero helped me with the cramping, it also adds potassium, sodium and magnesium to your diet.
all the pictures and recipes I'm posting here are mine. If you have any of your own please share them.
ketogenic is a low carb high fat woe (way of eating), typically no grain carbs but I like to have a low carb tortilla every now and then.
food prep is very important and bacon is a staple. I fry at least 3 pounds every 2 weeks. I've tried so many methods on how to keep the splatter at bay, baking frying, I was always getting a huge mess until I saw one of these on the internet, a splatter guard.
:splatterguard:
It comes in 10 inch and 12 inch, I haven't tried it yet I was just seeing how it fits on a 12 inch pan. I ordered it directly from China at aliexpress and it's way cheaper than going through a middle man, 1/3 of the price, I paid $10.
waiting for bacon pic to upload, the easiest method I found was to chop up the bacon into bits and it's just the way everyone likes it.
