Original Message I got to thinking, if an EMP or any long term grid down scenario occurs basements will be worthless if you can't pump the water out. Think about how much your pump runs in a heavy spring or summer rain. How do you overcome that? A hand barrel / drum pump?? I think this is something many overlook.
