[quote:Anonymous Coward 76571673:MV8zODMwMjgyXzY4ODc5NTk3X0VERTM3NEMz] You will have to do an apprenticeship with a licensed elec. to get a journeymans license so you can work legal. Then you will have to work under a contractor. And then.......just forget it. [/quote]

any electricians out there?
I am basically a retired cat lady with a solar system and inverters and batteries
getting anyone qualified to come to my house is like pulling teeth here
the vast majority are uneducated and the electricians who do things properly are rare and far away from me
I have degrees in accounting and finance, so I know how to study and solve problems
is it possible to learn electrician work online? what about experience, can I learn enough adequately online to be my own electrician?
I want to have an idea about this before I dive wholeheartedly into it
I’m not looking to go into business but to handle my own issues when they come up in my house
