Why do Americans even bother voting since the Electoral College is the great decider.
Do you know that the public doesn't elect the president? Your state does, through the Electoral College. The popular side of the vote determines how many people voted and who for.
President Donald Trump on Thursday voiced support for doing away with the Electoral College for presidential elections in favor of a popular vote because the latter would be “much easier to win.”
So much for the constitution. You would have to admit it's pretty ironic seeing he lost the popular vote.
