Has anyone ever followed a creek to its source??

[/quote] Doesn't have to be a cave, most often if it's not surface runoff it's a layer of semi porous rock that allows ground water from above to flow through it (an aquifer) until it intersects the surface again- that's where my tap water comes from. And yes, I've followed many creeks and streams to their source though usually there's more than one. [/quote]
