22 YEARS LATER and Tonya Harding is STILL excluded from ice skating.
She was never convicted of assaulting Nancy Kerrigan, only of "obstructing the prosecution".
Consider, Russian Olympic athletes who have been busted for drug-cheating are often only banned for a couple of years, but she got a LIFETIME BAN for something that is NOTHING to do with Ice Skating.
This naturally gifted woman would have so much to offer children from a poor background who could not normally afford an Olympic level coach, yet she has to work doing gardening for people, because she is banned from ICE SKATING.
Look, the only reason why they came after her in the first place was because she was not part of the "rich establishment".
Surely, isn't it time for clemency?
