Don't mess with homeless Vets!
He signed up for 4 years. He was discharged from the marines after 14 months. Hardly considered a "vet" when you're dishonorably discharged, but the media loves to play on your sympathy. He has 1,332 friends on Facebook plus relatives, and he's homeless? Something is fishy here.... From his Facebook profile: Paramedic/Firefighter at Vance County Fire And Ems Former Paramedic at Warren County EMS Former Firefighter at Vance County Former EMT-Paramedic at BAS - Bertie Ambulance Service Former Emergency Room Tech at UNC Healthcare Former Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) at Marine Corps Recruiting Studies Associates Degree in Emergency Medical Services at Lenoir Community College Studies Associate Nursing Degree at Excelsior College Studied Pre-reqs for Nursing at Vance Granville Community College Went to Northern Vance High Followed by 3,456 people
Since you're still so anti-this homeless guy, nutmeg, and finding nothing wrong with what the couple did to him do please give us the guy's Facebook link. I wouldn't be a bit surprised it's locked to Friends only or something like that by now though. Still... I'm sticking with my guns about not dragging the guy's name through the mud because of his past.
I still don't know what to think. His Facebook page is recent. It's open for anyone to see! He has 3,456 people following him! He will be a multi-millionaire when this is over. I'm still looking at both sides of this story. Yesterday I read a blog...a guy who says that he visited this guy many times as he sat on the sidewalk begging for money. He said the guy knew exactly what to say to people....a real charmer. I go to Philadelphia often. I have given a dollar or two to beggars.....saying they were homeless. Not long ago, returning from the theater, my friend and I went down the stairs to the train. There was the "homeless" beggar there counting his money. The wad of bills was so thick, he coud barely hold it. Here's an article from last year. Says he bought a house with the money. http://time.com/money/5051932/a-homeless-man-who-gave-a-stranded-woman-his-last-20-just-bought-a-house-with-donations-from-his-don't/
I can't find his Facebook page. Is it under Johnny Bobbitt Jr? I looked under John Bobbitt, also.
Johnnie S Bobbitt Jr https://www.facebook.com/johnnybobbitt
Thanks, I saw that and didn't recognize him from his photo with the dog.
Pulled over on the side of I-95, McClure, 27, was approached by a homeless man named Johnny. She was apprehensive at first, but Johnny told her to get back into her car and to lock the doors while he walked to get her help. He went to a nearby gas station, used his last $20 fill a can and brought it back to fill up her car.
