They don't hire the brightest bulbs there. After being investigated and found that the bill was real he got a free small coke for his troubles.
Well, I guess that beats a trip to the calaboose, but still...... I'm surprised that there haven't been any issues with those "gold"-covered Sacajawea dollar coins. Those things look phony as heck!
Hey Egg :hi: You gave me a good idea. I have a bunch of those coins somewhere in the bottom of one of my drawers. :flag waver:
Hey, Truth, good to see you too! :hugs:  Are you thinking about causing some mayhem?? :scheming: :applause2: I ended up giving the ones I had to the children of friends, let THEM worry about how to cash them! I was going to put them in my aquarium, but I wasn't really sure what kind of metal they are made out of ( I KNOW it's not GOLD!!)
The last time I saw mine, they were all tarnished. They would be pretty in your aquarium if they were shiny, but you never know, they could be harmful to the little fishies. I also have a bunch of Susan B. Anthony's. Years ago there used to be vending machines for train tickets at Grand Central Terminal that at the time didn't take credit cards, only cash. So if you didn't have the exact amount and you'd put in a $10 or $20 bill, the change would come out, first in Susan Bs, and then later on in Sacajaweas. I guess that was a good way for the railroad (or whoever) to get rid of them. Giving them away to kids is a good idea. I'm sure they'd get a kick out of having them.
A video of an argument with a Taco Bell employee in Hialeah, Fla., has unleashed a wave of indignation on social media.
The incident happened on Wednesday night, when Alexandria Montgomery was trying to place an order — in English — at a Taco Bell drive-through window at 785 East Ninth St. The employee refused to take her order because she wasn’t speaking Spanish.
