Then, no problem! That's why we need government so badly!
I agree...right up until I'm on final approach and your 500 dollar drone takes out my 2.8 million dollar engine on my Citation and hopefully doesn't kill me in the process.
A goose typically weighs between 30 and 45 pounds so what damage do you think a 1 pound bit of plastic is going to do?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_goose The largest wild goose ever recorded weighed 24 pounds. I had to look it up as I live next to an area frequented by a lot of migratory birds and I never saw anything of the size you indicated... no offense.
None taken. Thank you for the correction. The first search item I found for ‘goose weight’ was a Yahoo answer and I was a bit lazy not to check it properly. Bit obvious really considering I know exactly how heavy my 16.8kg (16lLb) road bike feels. Sounds nice where you live.
A bill close to passage in Congress would repeal the current exemption for hobbyists from regulations and for the first time require them to take a test before flying. It also says such operators must fly no higher than 400 feet and stay clear of traditional aircraft. They may have to eventually install radio identification signals on the devices.

Maybe we could get some GLPers to contact Congress to vote against this bill.
