Ben & Jerrys is no Mom & Pop shop, but owned by the worlds' biggest ice cream maker, Unilever, with billions in annual sales, mostly outside the us.
They are an Anglo-Dutch corporation.
This has me wondering what they're resisting, and if this represents undue foreign influence in an American election. Surely got 10000 times more press than those few Russian troll posts about Jesus in the 2016 election campaign period.
What say you? Is this a case of foreign influence meddling in an election? Should they be prosecuted?
Opinions, please! I didn't know until reading it on twitter and doing a little research online. Don't take my word for it. Just look up Unilever Ben & Jerrys and it's all there, on your favorite search engine.
